Don't look at my face, I'm not a beautiful lady, I'm an ugly man!

Nível 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Keanu Tabali limped the button and Yi Fang checked his option.

"I check blind. Give you a chance to make a mistake!"

The flop landed {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Tabali bet out 16,000.

"I told you you would make a mistake and you did!" stated Fang as he check-raised to 32,000.

As Tabali starred at Fang, Fang announced, "Don't look at my face, I'm not a beautiful lady, I'm an ugly man!"

Tabali would make the call, and when the turn landed the {6-Clubs}, Fang bet out 40,000 and started to pretend he was wheeling in a fish in the direction of Tabali. Tabali folded and Fang raked in the pot to move to 1.7 million.

Abueid Wins Big Pot Against Gohr

Nível 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Sam Abueid opened to 35,000 from middle position, before facing a raise to 85,000 from Sebastian Gohr on the small blind. He made the call, as both saw the flop come {9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

Gohr reached for his chips, and bet out 70,000. Abueid called. The {10-Hearts} fell on the turn, and Gohr checked his option. Abueid thought for a moment, before cutting out a bet of 150,000, and sliding it out into the middle. Gohr called the bet, before the {7-Spades} completed the board.

Another check from Gohr prompted Abueid to bet out 200,000. Gohr deliberated over his decision for a minute, before making the call.

“Straight,” said Abueid, before tabling his {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Gohr quickly mucked his hand, awarding the big pot to Abueid.

Two Wise Men

Nível 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

After three-way preflop action, Kevin Allen and Anthony Wise were all in preflop against Seaver Kyaw.

Allen: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Wise: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Kyaw: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The flop fell {10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades}, giving Kyaw a pair of jacks and a few backdoor draws, but the turn and river bricked {8-Clubs}, {9-Spades} respectively. Allen hit the rail, Wise more than doubled to 690,000 chips, and Kyaw is still very healthy with 1.6 million.

Porter Making His Presence Known

Nível 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Rep Porter replaced Emile Petit in the Mothership, and on his third hand at the table, he raised it up to 32,000 from under the gun +1. Jonathan Jaffe reraised to 80,000 next to act, and action quickly folded back around to Porter. It only took him a couple seconds to announce raise, then he put out a bet of 632,000, enough to move Jaffe all in. Jaffe thought it over for about a minute before kicking his hand in, and Porter took down the first pot he entered at the featured table.

Kimura KO's Chen

Nível 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Alex Bilokur raised it up to 32,000 from middle position, and Kima Kimura three bet it to 75,000 next to act. Action folded to Tommy Chen, who moved all in from the big blind for his last 297,000. Bilokur folds quickly, and Kimura tanked for about a minute before making the call.

Kimura: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Chen: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

Chen held the slight edge in a classic coin flip situation, but that all changed when the flop came down {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. Kimura now had the lead with a pair of kings, and Chen was looking for a jack. The turn brought the {9-Hearts}, which gave Chen flush draw outs in addition to the jack. The river was red, but it was the {4-Diamonds}, giving Kimura the knockout, and upping her stack to 819,000.

Sacrispeyre Sunk

Nível 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

A short-stacked Patrick Sacrispeyre was all in before the flop for his last 23,000 with {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and hoping to improve against the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} of Alessandro Fasolis.

Alas for Sacrispeyre, the board ran out {Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}, and he joins others who have fallen during the first hour of Day 5.

Gee Knocks Out Sheikhan

Nível 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Shawn Sheikhan (from Day 4)
Shawn Sheikhan (from Day 4)

Shawn Sheikhan — who finished 11th in the WSOP Main Event in 2005 — just open-raised all in from late position for his last 340,000 or so, and the action folded to 2012 WSOP Main Event ninth-place finisher Steve Gee in the small blind.

Gee checked his cards, then pushed all in himself with a stack that appeared roughly similar to Sheikhan's, and the big blind stepped aside.

Gee: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Sheikhan: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{4-Diamonds} to swing the advantage Gee's way, and after the {10-Diamonds} turn and {3-Clubs} river, his pair of aces earned him the pot. The stacks were counted to make sure, and indeed Gee had Sheikhan covered and the latter quickly departed.

Sichelstiel Flats Nines Full

Nível 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Noah Schwartz
Noah Schwartz

Noah Schwartz raised to 35,000 from the cutoff, and Robert Sichelstiel called from the big blind. The flop came {9-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades}, and Sichelstiel check-called 29,000. The turn paired the board with the {8-Hearts}, and Sichelstiel again check-called, this time for 52,000. A {9-Hearts} river double-paired the board, and Sichelstiel checked a final time. Schwartz came out with 129,000 this time, and Sichelstiel quickly called.

Schwartz showed {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the second nut full.

"I knew something was up," Sichelstiel said, flashing the {9-Spades} for nines full of eights. "I should have known."

"You had nines full," Schwartz said simply. "I would have raised with your hand."
