Ozzy's Epic Tank

When we reached the table, the board had been completed {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. Randy Haddox had already checked, and [Removed:163] fired 22,000. Haddox check-raised to 59,500, and Sheikh went deep into the tank.

During the tank Haddox had a beer delivered, there was an announcement made that the Brasilia Room was fully broken, and nearly ten minutes rolled off of the clock.

Finally, Sheikh committed the chips, and Haddox flashed two eights. Sheikh tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for a pair of aces, and shipped the pot.

Lindley Surviving

Christina Lindley has been moved to the table in the Amazon where Antonio Esfandiari and David Tuchman are sitting. The group just ordered a round of beers to celebrate the end of the evening, but Lindley — currently with a super short stack — isn't ready to celebrate making the end of the day just yet.

Recently she just open-pushed her stack before the flop, and it folded to the big blind who showed his {8-}{5-} before folding. Lindley showed one card — the {A-Spades} — and scooped the small pot.

Negreanu Knocked Down

We saw a swarm of cameras and rail birds surrounding Daniel Negreanu's table, so we went over to check out what was going on. We saw that there was about 65,000 in the middle, and a board that read {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. Negreanu's opponent had bet out 36,000, and Negreanu was in the tank when we arrived.

He started to talk through the hand, and said that quads didn't make sense. He couldn't quite put his opponent on a hand, but he tossed in the call anyways. His opponent showed that he had all of the board, as he tabled {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Negreanu mucked his hand, dropping him to 84,000.

On the very next hand, Negreanu squeezed by moving all in after an 8,000 raise and a call, but he got no action. That move got him back up to over 100,000.

A Few From Blue

AJ Jejelowo - A Million Dollar Man
AJ Jejelowo - A Million Dollar Man

The ESPN crews are filming throughout the Blue section of the Amazon room for the television broadcast, but we were able to obtain a few chip counts from players in that section.

Also, we were able to catch big stack A.J. Jejelowo raise to 9,000 from the button. The small blind called and the flop fell {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Jejelowo's opponent checked and Jejelowo continued for a bet of 14,000. The continuation bet caused Jejelowo's opponent to fold and he was able to take down the pot. This win puts him at 1,000,000 in chips.

Buchman Gets Aces on Last Hand

Nível 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

On the last hand before Eric Buchman's table broke he got involved in decent pot. We picked up the action on the flop of {10-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {4-Clubs} and Buchman check-called 30,000.

The turn brought the {7-Spades} and both players checked. The river brought the {10-Spades}, Buchman bet 45,000 and his opponent called after a few short moments.

Buchman tabled {A-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} and his opponent reluctantly showed {Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs}.
