A Hit & Run satellite just began where players start off with 3,500 chips. Any player that reaches 40,000 chips will automatically receive a ticket into the Winamax SISMIX Main Event Day 1c. If a player happens to reach more than 40,000 chips in a hand, the extra chips are divided among the remaining players.
This matches the same type of satellite tournament WInamax recently launched online and has proven popular with its players.

Guillaume Darcourt, the husband of the event photographer Caroline Darcourt, was one of the chip leaders last time we checked up on him. We just noticed him on the rail and he sadly shared that he has "lost a lot of pots" and none of them were too memorable other than it sounded like a quick downswing.

Team Winamax pro Alexandre Luneau with about 10,000 chips behind went into the tank on a board of facing a 4,000 chip bet. While this is only four big blinds, it represented almost half the chips he had remaining. Luneau eventually called with and his opponent Tristan Vernay tapped the table to say nice hand. Luneau's stack has almost doubled up to 25,000 after that hand.
