The former SCOOP Main Event champion Jude Ainsworth is into the deep stages of an EPT tournament yet again. But the man who has never seen two cards he wouldn’t play is this time aiming squarely for the final — and promises to make it worthwhile for his supporters. PokerStars Blog talked to “jthaddeus”.
Sitting out of position against the chip lead is never an easy spot to be in, but Stuart McDonald just made it a bit easier by doubling through him. McDonald raised to 33,000 from the button and Olekii Khoroshenin three-bet to 80,000 after which the Aussie moved all in.
Khoroshenin called.
McDonald:

The board ran out and that gave McDonald a big double up. Khoroshenin wasn't hurt by it too much, as he still sits near the top of the counts.

On a board we saw Nir Levy at risk against Roman Korenev. It looked as though Levy had checked to Stuart McDonald who bet 39,000, followed by a raise from Korenev to 109,000. After this raise it was Levy who moved all in for about 450,000 and McDonald folded his cards.
Korenev called right away, and Levy wondered if his opponent had a set. Levy's suspicions were confirmed, and he was drawing dead.

Korenev:
