Chan Down and Kan Up

Terrence Chan has taken a big hit to leave his tournament hanging by a thread as Raiden Kan has found a very nice double up.
It started with a raise to 1,000 from early position. Chan smooth-called in middle position before Kan moved all in for a total of 10,400 from the cutoff. The original raiser folded but Chan was pretty quick to get his chips in the middle.

Chan was unlucky to run into the bigger pair and he couldn’t spike a two-outer on the 
board. Kan doubles to 24,000 with Chan now in trouble with just 6,000.
