GPI Player of the Year: Matt Salsberg Regressa ao Top 10
Paul Volpe continua a liderar o prémio Global Poker Index Player of the Year 2013 com 602.28 pontos. A única mudança no top 10 foi a entrada de Matt Salsberg para o número 10.

Salsberg já fez duas final tables no World Poker Tour este ano, foi 6º em ambas ( WPT Borgata Winter Open e WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open). Ficou também em 7º no WPT Venice e em 10º no WPT bestbet Open.
David "Doc" Sands e David Tuthill saltaram vinte lugares esta semana. Sands é agora 24º depois de ficar em 20º lugar no WPT bestbet Open,enquanto Tuthill é o 27º depois de ficar em 28º no mesmo torneio.
A subidas não ficaram apenas a cargo de Sand e Tuthill, Matt Giannetti e Franck Kalfon também subiram bastante. Giannetti ficou em 22º no WPT bestbet Open, e é agora 50º classificado no ranking, Kalfon entrou no top 100 depois de ser terceiro nas €1,800 Deepstack series de Deauville.
Michael Linster foi quem mais subiu esta semana, foram 275 lugares até ao lugar #81. tamanha subida deveu-se à vitória no WPT bestbet Open ($296,521).
