Welcome back to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino and the 2017 World Series of Poker for Day 3 of the Event #11: $1,500 Dealers Choice 6-Handed!

Just a couple of days ago, 364 players took to the felt for the fourth running of this tournament here at the WSOP. Some of the best in the game took to the felt to battle it out across a multitude of games that would truly test a player's skills and assess how great of an all-around poker player each one is.

Action was fast and furious across both Day 1 and 2 with only 89 players remaining at the start of play yesterday as the likes of Yuval Bronshtein, Jake Schwartz, Aaron Steury, Jeff Madsen, Yueqi Zhu, John Racener, and Eric Rodawig all exited before the money-paying top 55.

From there, "Captain" Tom Franklin (50th), Ray Henson (47th), Chris Ferguson (44th), Kyle Bowker (38th), Scott Bohlman (33rd), Marco Johnson (30th), Tommy Hang (29th), David Benyamine (28th), Mark Gregorich (27th), Jesse Martin (20th), Alex Luneau (15th), Jon Turner (13th) and Justin Bonomo (10th) all fell short of making it to Day 3 today.

Amazingly, two previous champions made the money as Lawrence Berg finished 45th after winning this event in 2016, while Robert Mizrachi had a tremendous run that ended in 12th place after he won this event in 2015, and final tabled it in 2016.

For the 2009 $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship winner David Bach, he has reached ten additional WSOP final tables without tasting victory, and with a chip stack of 798,500 that towers over his nearest rival, Bach will be hoping to reach his 12th WSOP final table and collect his second WSOP bracelet.

Right on his heels, however, is Christopher Sensoli who ended the day with 552,000, while Chip Jett rounds out the top three with 305,500. Kevin Iacofano and Brandon Cantu are also still in the mix, but with big limits and extremely swingy game choices available to be picked, this event still remains anyone's to win.

Iacofano Clips Sensoli

From the button, Kevin Iacofano raised to 24,000 and Christopher Sensoli three-bet to 36,000. Iacofano called and both players drew two.

Sensoli bet 12,000 and Iacofano called and drew one as Sensoli drew two and checked. Iacofano then bet 24,000 and Sensoli called. On the next draw, Sensoli drew two again as Iacofano took one. Sensoli checked, Iacofano bet 24,000 and Sensoli called.

Iacofano tabled his {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{A-Clubs} for an eight-low and three-card five and Sensoli mucked.

Chip Jett opened for 15,000 in the cutoff. Zachary Freeman shoved all in from the button for what turned out to be about 160,000. Big blind Anthony Arvidson did likewise for about 170,000. Jett mucked.

Arvidson stood pat. Freeman sighed and looked pained, thought a bit, and then patted as well.

"Eight-perfect," Arvidson announced, tabling his eight-five.

Freeman showed a nine-eight and took his leave.

Cantu Folds King-King to Iacofano

Nível 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Badacey

Both Brandon Cantu and Kevin Iacofano committed 24,000 pre-draw in the blinds as both players drew two cards.

Cantu checked and Iacofano bet 12,000. Cantu called after roughly a minute deliberating and drew two cards again as Iacofano stood pat.

Cantu checked and Iacofano bet 24,000. Cantu went deep into the tank for over four minutes before eventually folding his {K-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} face-up.

2-7 Single Draw

David Bach raised to 15,000 on the button and Brandon Cantu moved all in from the small blind. It was just a hair under 100,000, and Bach announced a call. Cantu took one, and Bach patted.

"I just have a jack," Bach said, fanning {j-}{10-}{8-}{6-}{3-}.

"Oooh," Cantu said, showing {9-}{8-}{6-}{2-}.

He sweated out his last card slowly. He noted that two across was a winner for him, paint was live, and three across was 50-50. It turned out to be three across but he said it was a club. He craned his neck to see Bach's cards, and neither his six nor his eight were clubs, a bad sign for Cantu, who also had no clubs.

"Two-to-one dog," he said.

He peeked at the front of his card for the big reveal and then showed the {6-Clubs}.

"Good game, guys."

Two-Pair for Sensoli

Nível 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Christopher Sensoli raised to 16,000 and Kevin Iacofano called on the button, as did Scott Milkey from the big blind.

The {6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{A-Clubs} was checked through as the {10-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Sensoli bet out 35,000. Iacofano called and Milkey check-folded as the {K-Clubs} on the river went check, check.

Sensoli tabled his {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades} for two pair and Iacofano folded.
