Adam Owen jammed all in from the button after Clement Richez had raised to 5,500,000 from the big blind. The dealer counted it out it out to be 43,300,000. Richez took a couple of moments and put down the chips to call.

The French rail exploded with the chance for their man to get the bracelet while the British rail called for a queen. The flop came 7♦K♦6♣ to put a stranglehold on the hand. The turn was the J♦ and the river came the 10♠ and Richez was the mid stakes championship champion as Owen once again finished runner-up for a WSOP bracelet.

Alec Torelli Eliminated in 3rd place ($517,525)

Adam Owen opened from the button to 2,400,000 and Alec Torelli defended the big blind.

The flop came 7♠4♣8♠ and Torelli checked raised all in, after Owen bet 2,400,00.

Torelli asked Owen, "Do you want to hear my quantum poker theory?".

Owen responded, "let's hear it," before making any further action. Torelli briefly recalled the Schrödinger's Cat thought experiment to the table and the rail, whilst Owen thought about the call.

Owen eventually moved his chips into the middle, calling Torelli's jam, and the players flipped their hands.

Owen was sitting on a pair of eights, whilst Torelli was hunting for either a straight or flush to keep him alive.

The 5♦ gave Torelli a pair of fives, which wasn't enough to put him ahead.

Owen's rail was calling for the 2♥, which came in on the river, confirming Torelli's elimination in 3rd.
