Welcome to a bonus day in Event #79: $1,979 Poker Hall Of Fame Bounty No-Limit Hold’em as the seven remaining players return at 2 p.m. local time to play down to a winner. The tournament attracted 865 entries to create a prize pool of $1,495,363, with each player pocketing at least $35,164. But at the end of the road, the winner will walk away with the gold World Series of Poker bracelet and $276,067.
Jinho Hong will start the day in pole position with 7,785,000 in chips. Trailing him on the podium are Punnat Punsri (6,280,000) and Daniel Weinman ( 2,975,000). They are joined by Jakob Miegel, Yuri Dzivielevski, George Rotariu, and Pavel Spirins.

This is Weinman's third final table appearance after winning $255,359 in Event #30: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha and finishing as the runner-up in Event #9: $1,500 Seven Card Stud for $63,835. Dzivielevski is playing on his fourth final table of this summer and came close to adding a third bracelet to his collection in Event 56: $50,000 Poker Players Championship but fell just short after being bested by Dan Cates. For both players, this is their first No-Limit Hold'em final table. Will one of them be able to close it out?
Today promises to be an exciting day as any player could take it down as they will all do their utmost to claim that bracelet and the bragging rights as play resumes in the Bally's Event Center here at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas. When the action kicks off at 2 p.m., they will start with Level 31 which features a small blind of 100,000, a big blind of 200,000, and a big blind ante of 200,000.

The seven remaining players have taken their seats and the dealer has shuffled up and dealt.
Yuri Dzivielevski shoved from the middle position for 2,750,000 for George Rotariu to tank from the hijack. After a minute or so, he made the call for the 1,905,000 he had behind. Jinho Hong was up next from the cutoff. He tanked for just over two minutes before making the call too while the rest of the table quickly folded.

The board ran out for both Rotariu and Hong to flop two pair but for Hong to score the double knockout with the queen-kicker to bust Rotariu in seventh place and Dzivielevski in sixth place in only the second hand of the day.

Punnat Punsri glanced over to Daniel Weinman and decided to shove from the small blind. Weinman looked at his cards and thought about it for a few seconds before making the call.

The board ran out for Punsri to hit the pair of jacks on the turn for Weinman to get up from his seat as the river completed the board as he busted in fourth place for $86,730.

Punnat Punsri opted to complete his small blind and Jakob Miegel shoved for what looked like 2,175,000 which Punsri called immediately.

The board ran out for Punsri to stay ahead and even river a full house to send Miegel to the rail in third place for $120,756.
While the dealer pushed Miegel's stack to Punsri, Punsri asked Jinho Hong if they could take a quick break which he agreed to instantly with a big smile and bumped fists.
