Brad Owen opened to 10,000 from under the gun and was called by only the hijack and big blind.

On a flop of {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} all players checked around. The {k-Hearts} turn hit and the big blind checked. Owen bet 18,000 and only the hijack made the call.

The {2-Spades} completed the board and Owen moved all in for roughly 65,000. The hijack took a moment but let his hand go and Owen was awarded another pot.

Pierre Calamusa
Pierre Calamusa

Tables are breaking really fast in Paris, and one of them is coming soon to Bally's, the one with Pierre Calamusa and co. But Konstantin Angelov will not be there, he just busted in a huge pot created by the Bulgarian, Calamusa and another player.

Calamusa explained he had {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} on a {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop.

"Konstantin Angelov had {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for second nut flush and the third player had a set."

The dealer put a {5-Clubs} turn and a {3-Diamonds} river to complete that board and Calamusa eliminated two players, to become one of the biggest stack in the tournament now.

Matt Berkey
Matt Berkey

Action was picked up in a pot of roughly 25,000 on a board showing {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Matt Berkey checked his option from the small blind, as did his opponent on the button.

The river {a-Hearts} completed the board and Berkey moved all in for 27,000 which was quickly called by the button.

Berkey confidently rolled over {q-Spades}{8-Spades} for queens-full and his opponent looked sick when he turned over {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a smaller full-house. Berkey scooped the pot to double up his starting stack.
