Ran Koller

The 2022 World Series of Poker at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas continues today with Event #25: $800 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack. Play will start at 1:00 p.m. local time as we continue with another great event at the Series.

The current champ is Ran Koller who won the event in 2021 for $269,478. Last year's event drew a prizepool of $1,955,712 from 2,778 entrants. We can expect this years event to do at least as well, as we've been smashing records all month at the years WSOP.

As mentioned, play will kick off at 1:00 p.m. local Pacific time and players will start with 40,000 chips. We will see 30 minute blind levels and 20 minute breaks every 4 levels. 22 levels will also be played today, and a 75 minute break after level 12. This is a two-day event so anyone who does bag chips at the end of the day will come back tomorrow for Day 2.

Stay tuned for more coverage of this event and the entire 2022 World Series of Poker from the PokerNews live reporting team.

10 Minutes And Already An Elimination

Nível 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

A player raised in late position, Aaron Campbell called from the button, before Young Man in the big blind raised to 1,300. Campbell was the only one to call to see a {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} coming.

Man bet 2,000 and Campbell raised it to 6,500. Man made the call to see a {7-Diamonds} on the turn.
Campbell bet 6,500 on this turn, before Man check-raised it all-in.

Campbell called with {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for flush, but was not totally safe after Man showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} with a redraw nuts.
Nevertheless, the river {3-Hearts} secured a double up for Campbell.

Just after that hand, the 10,000 chips left of Young Man's stack were involved in the middle of the table with {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} against {a-Spades}{7-Spades} for another player, Rob Crow. But an Ace on the turn concluded the tournament of Man, in just the first level.

Eyman Eyeing Up His Opponents Stacks

Nível 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

Dean Eyman was betting 2,100 chips on a board of {5-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} from early position versus the button and big blind.

With 7,000 already in the pot before Eyman's bet, both players called and they went to a {8-Diamonds} river. The action didn't slow Eyman down who bet 6,500. Both the button and big blind let it go to chip Eyman up nicely in the first level of the day.
