Straight Mashin'

Howard Mash

Howard Mash's stack continues to grow, with the latest addition coming in a hand that saw Mash, on the big blind, call an all in from his opponent on the turn.

Opponent: {6-}{4-}
Howard Mash: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

Board: {2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{a-Hearts}

Mash didn't even want to turn over his hand when the opponent, from the cutoff, showed the six-four offsuit for trip fours. He conceded to the dealer's instructions eventually and flipped over his ace-king.

The river came a favorable {a-Spades}, however, giving Mash the come-from-behind win with the full house.

"He deserves it for the six-four offsuit," said Mash after his opponent hit the rail.

Kassouf Bossed

Nível 2 : 100/200, 0 ante
Will Kassouf
Will Kassouf

Alicia Stepnowski and Will Kassouf engaged in a cutoff versus button battle, getting to the river on a {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} board. The out-of-position Stepnowski put in a bet, and Kassouf didn't take too long before making the fold.

Stepnowski emphatically tabled her {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for the nut straight and exclaimed "Like a boss!", clearly knowing exactly who her foe to the left is. Kassouf complimented her on the hand and told her he knew she wasn't bluffing in that spot and had at least two pair.

On the following hand, Kassouf opened to 500 from the cutoff, and Adam Matues called in the big blind. Kassouf continued for 800 on the {6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop, and Matues called.

Both players checked the turn {k-Diamonds}, and Matues led with a 1,500 bet on the {6-Hearts} river, getting the fold from Kassouf.
