A wild roller coaster day of action in Event #50: Monster Stack - $1,500 No Limit Hold’em saw the field of hopefuls reduced from 457 down to less than 50 as Day 3 ended. The remaining players fought through a tough field to bag their chips and retain the goal of winning the first place prize of $1,008,850.

Bagging the chip lead at the end of the night and was Vincent Chauve. The Frenchman ended the night with a whopping 22,000,000 to lead all remaining players in the field. He amassed a large portion of his stack when his set of threes cracked the aces of Malvin Tan, who himself was a large stack at the time, to launch his stack to above the 15 million mark, which he would steadily increase before the end of play.

Also among the biggest stacks were; Bryan Kim (17,725,000), Anthony Kazgandjian (15,700,000), Ramiro Petrone (13,900,000) and Andre Haneberg (12,725,000).

Well known players who still remain include Ukrainian Igor Yaroshevskyy who bagged 7,350,000, Bart Hanson who will take a sizeable stack of 11,650,000 into tomorrow, Kevin Roster who has 3,475,000 and two-time WSOP bracelet winner Ryan Hughes with a stack of 8,500,000.

Start of day chip leader, Kainalu McCue-Unciano took one of the wildest rides of the day on the Monster Stack roller coaster. He started the day strong and hit a peak around dinner break when seemingly every chip was migrating to his stack after he eliminated multiple players in large pots in a short period of time to swell his stack to above the 16 million mark. This huge number of chips was worth 250 big blinds at the time and was a stack that would have ended the day in the top five in chips. Instead, his day plummeted from that peak, slowly at first, then dropped like a stone in the last level of the day as his Day 3 ride ended with a stack of merely 3,750,000.

But he and the other remaining players still have chips and a chance, something that the many players who were eliminated on the day can no longer say. Among those eliminated early in the day were Pierre Neuville, Mike Shin, Joe Cada, Jonathan Levy and Yves Rolland. Others were eliminated late as the day came to a close including, Sean Yu, Iaron Lightbourne and Scott Vetter.

The surviving 49 players will return Tuesday, June 25 at noon local time to battle down to the final six. Play will resume at Level 22 with blinds at 10,000 and 20,000 with a 20,000 big blind ante,

This prestigious WSOP bracelet will be covered in its entirety by PokerNews live reporting team, so make sure to check in for the penultimate day of Monster Stack Action!

After Anthony Kazgandjian raised it up to 130,000 from early position, Graham Hiew then three-bet to 625,000. Action folded to Kainalu McCue-Unciano on the button and he made the call and Kazgandjian folded.

After Hiew checked to McCue-Unciano on the {10-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop, McCue-Unciano then led out for 400,000, which was met with a check-shove from Hiew. McCue-Unciano asked the dealer to pull in the 400,000 so that he could see how much more it was to call. The dealer confirmed an additional 1,630,000, and after some thought McCue-Unciano made the call.

Kainalu McCue-Unciano: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

McCue-Unciano was behind, but that changed quickly when the dealer fanned the {j-Spades} on the turn and the {8-Clubs} on the river, which gave McCue-Unciano the full house and eliminated yet another opponent. Also, worth noting is that McCue-Unciano also eliminated Jeremy Kramer from the tournament just a few hands later.

Black Hole Forms in the Amazon Room

A black hole has seemingly formed in the Amazon Room for all of the chips in play in the form of Kainalu McCue-Unciano's as the Hawaii native added yet another chunk of them to his gravitational pull after he bet 300,000 on a board that read {3-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} that forced Alejandro Quattrini to fold his hand to the pressure of the enormous stack.

Shortly afterwards he four-bet Anthony Kazgandjian, who had a large amount of chips himself, out of a pot when he thrust a large stack of mint colored 100,000 chips forward to garner the fold.

Pressure and Wet Board Cause Isobe to Fold Flopped Top Set on Turn

Nível 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

In a four way pot on a flop that read {2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, Dale Isobe bet 200,000 in position on the button. Next to act, Nicholas Kallenbach raised out of the big blind to roughly 590,000. The under the gun player thought for about 15 seconds before pitching his cards, the fourth player in the hand quickly folded. Action was back on Isobe who cut out the chips for the call.

The turn wet the board even more when it came the {8-Hearts}. Kallenbach led out with a assortment of chip stacks and colors that the dealer counted out to be a bet of 945,000.

Isobe thought it out thoroughly for about two minutes without giving anything away. Finally his facade cracked a bit as he frowned and started to talk to himself and eventually folded the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} face up showing that he flopped top set but no longer considered it good enough to continue.

Kallenbach pulled in the boon to his stack and did not show his cards despite prompting from Isobe and a few others at the table who displayed curiosity.

Action picked up on a board reading {8-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and just over 400,000 already in the pot.

Jeff Siegal, first to act, put out a bet of 400,000. Kainalu McCue-Unciano, the start-of-day chipleader and only other player in the hand, thought for about 30 seconds before announcing, "All in." With action back on Siegal, he went deep into the tank for almost two minutes before saying, "Call," and tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, for the top pair with top kicker.

However, Siegal saw that he was way behind after McCue-Unciano tabled {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a flopped set, which left Siegal drawing dead even before the dealer fanned the {q-Spades} on the river. Siegel, who started the day sixth in chips, was gone from the tournament just like that. Meanwhile, McCue-Unciano scooped the biggest pot of the tournament so far, which sent him soaring even higher in the chipcounts,
