Welcome to a new Day 1 flight of Event #6: $365 GIANT No-Limit Hold'em. Day 1c brought a total of 1,148 entries, and only 55 of them found a bag by the end of 21 levels. It’s the French player Mathieu Philbert who took the lion’s share at the end of the day, racking up an impressive stack of 1,940,000.

This is the fourth of five Friday night flights with the remainder on June 29. The lucky ones that bag during any of the flights will be coming back for Day 2 on Saturday, June 30 and a champion will be crowned Sunday, July 1.

Play will resume at 7 p.m and will conclude after twenty-one 20 minute levels or when the field is down to 10 players, whichever comes first. Players will receive 25,000 in chips and can rebuy as often as they like during the open registration period. There will be 20 minute breaks every six levels and late registration is open for nine levels, closing at approximately 10:20 p.m.

The GIANT plays into the money on Day 1, with the top 15 percent of the field getting paid a guaranteed min-cash by the end of the night. The remaining prize money from each flight gets carried over to Day 2, to create the total prize pool the Day 2 players will battle for.

Anyone surviving their Day 1 will have their chips put into play on Day 2 unless they choose to forfeit them to attempt on the last flight. Once a player bags chips, they are no longer eligible to participate in additional starting flights.

Treptow Wins Some Chips

Nível 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

On a raised pot with two active players, a first player bet 525 on the flop {2-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Daniel Treptow made it to 1,050. His opponent called and checked on the {3-Spades} turn. Treptow sent another bet and it was enough to grab the pot without more resistance.

Treptow has now a stack worth 28,000.

Urabe Grabbs Some Chips

Nível 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

A player opened preflop to 250 and Rick Urabe made the call from the button. The flop fell {3-Clubs}{a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Urabe called his opponent's bet for 400.

The turn was the {a-Diamonds} and after a check, Urabe bet and it was enough to make his opponent muck his hand.
