Event #6: $365 GIANT No-Limit Hold'em
Dia 1b Iniciado
Welcome to the second Day 1 flight of Event #6: $365 GIANT No-Limit Hold'em.
Day 1a attracted 1,289 entries, and 194 players cashed, with a min-cash worth $557. Justin Sternberg ended Day 1a as the chip leader with an impressive stack of 1,215,000.
This is the second of five Friday night flights with the remainder on June 15, 22, and 29, with Day 2 on Saturday June 30.
Cards will be in the air at 7 p.m. and play will conclude after twenty one 20-minute levels or when the field is down to 10 players, whichever comes first. There will be 20-minute breaks every six levels. Late registration will be available for nine levels and will close at approximately 10:20 p.m.
Players will get into the money on Day 1. Anyone surviving their Day 1 will have their chips put into play on Day 2 (if they choose not to forfeit them to attempt another flight). Once a player bags chips, they are no longer eligible to participate in additional starting flights. This event features unlimited reentry during the open registration period. People can end up cashing in multiple flights, however, only one chip stack can be carried forward to Day 2 play.
The Giant will pay 15% of the field, based on the individual flight number of entries, and everyone on Day 1 who cashes can receive their prize money that day. The remaining prize money from each flight gets carried over to Day 2, along with the other flights’ remaining prize money, to combine and create the remaining prize pool the Day 2 players will vie for.
