Welcome back to our ongoing coverage of the 2014 World Series of Poker! While much of the room is abuzz regarding the record-breaking Event #51: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack and the final table of the prestigious Event #46: $50,000 Poker Players' Championship, the 50th event of the summer quietly prepares for its second day of play. Just 106 players bagged up last night with Eric Crain's stack of 71,600 topping the field.

Yesterday's play saw a grand total of 485 runners hit the felt with the hopes of becoming the WSOP's newest mixed game bracelet winner. After ten full levels of play, a majority of the field hit the rail. While Crain leads the charge coming back, several other notable players are peppered through today's returning field. Play resumes at 2 p.m. local time where the field will play down through the money bubble and beyond. Be sure to stay tuned to PokerNews for all of the latest from the tournament felt!

Ivey Busts Vo

Nível 11

Pot-Limit Omaha

The flop read {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Phil Ivey checked over to Pearce Arnold who checked as well. Tuan Vo cut out a bet of 1,900 and Ivey came right over the top with a raise to an unknown amount. Arnold got out of the way, Vo quickly announced he was all in and Ivey snap-called.

Ivey: {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Vo: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

The board completed with the {7-Clubs} and the {Q-Spades}, giving Ivey a club flush with his jack-four and eliminating Vo from play. Ivey scooped the pot and now has about 19,000 to his name.

Wolansky Takes it Down

Nível 11

Limit Hold'em

Action folded around to Joseph Stiers who cut out a raise from the button. Steven Wolansky three-bet the action from the small blind and Thomas Butzhammer came over the top with a four-bet from the big blind. Stiers flatted and Wolansky came along for the ride as well.

The three saw {6-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{5-Hearts} hit the felt and Wolansky came out swinging. Both Butzhammer and Stiers called and the {10-Hearts} hit the turn. Wolansky bet again and this time both of his opponents quickly let go of their cards. Wolansky took down the pot and now has about 21,000.

Arvanetes Over Hakimian

Nível 11

2-7 Triple Draw

Demetrios Arvanetes opened with a raise and Eric Crain called from the button. Daniel Ospina threw out a call from the small blind and Daniel Hakimian came along from the big blind. For the first draw, Ospina, Hakimian, and Arvanetes all pulled two new cards. Crain, on the other hand, opted for three. Action checked back to Arvanetes and he continued out, finding calls from all three competitors.

For the second draw, Ospina once again pulled two. Hakimian, Arvanetes, and Crain all took one new card. Ospina checked and Hakimian fired out a bet. Arvanetes came over the top with a raise, allowing both Crain and Ospina to ditch their hands. Hakimian called.

Both players stood pat on the final draw and Hakimian check-called one final bet. Arvanetes fanned {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} for a winning seventy-six low. Hakimian mucked his cards and Arvanetes took down the pot. He now has about 55,000 in chips.

Bonomo: {x-}{x-} / {9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

David "ODB" Baker completed with the {4-Clubs} showing and it folded around to Justin Bonomo who cut out a raise. Action came back to Baker and he called. Bonomo kept first action on fourth street with nine-four showing and he cut out a bet. Baker called and received three to a straight on fifth. Bonomo fired again and this time Baker slowed. He thought for a moment before giving his head a small shake and throwing his cards into the muck. Bonomo raked in the chips and now sits on about 37,000 in chips.
