After just three hours of play here on Day 4 of Event #58: $1,111 Little One for One Drop, Brian Yoon has defeated seven other competitors to take down the gold bracelet and $663,727 in prize money. He just knocked out Cuong Van Nguyen on the 11th hand of heads up. Van Nguyen will have to console himself with $408,624.

Player wasted no time jamming chips into the middle to start the day, when Van Nguyen doubled through Alex Case on the very first hand. Case was eliminated a short time later. Kevin O'Donnell followed just a few hands later in seventh. Joe Morneau busted sixth when he couldn't hold off Yoon's draw.

Yoon jammed another draw a short time later, this time against Day 3 chipleader Nghi Tran. He spiked his straight on the turn, propelling him to a dominating stack. A crippled Tran busted a short time later.

The players sparred four-handed for awhile before Yoon claimed another victim, ousting Justin Zaki in a flip. Roland Israelashvili fell the very next hand in third, leading to the short heads-up battle.

Yoon's win triples his career live tournament earnings. Thanks for tuning in to our One Drop coverage, and congratulations to Brian Yoon. Don't forget to jet on over to the live reporting for the Main Event.

Hand #118: Cuong Van Nguyen raised to 450,000, and Brian Yoon shipped all in. Van Nguyen made the call for around 3 million.

Van Nguyen: {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Yoon: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, and Yoon was suddenly a bit behind and in danger of being in an even-stacked heads-up match. The turn was a {9-Spades}, which changed nothing.

"Seven!" yelled one of Van Nguyen's greedy railbirds. Instead, the river was the {k-Hearts}, and Yoon had spiked one of the cards he needed to take down the tournament.

The flop came down {J-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, pairing Yoon and leaving Zaki drawing thin. The {6-Spades} turn was no help to Zaki, nor was the {10-Spades} river, ending his run in fourth place.

Yoon Doubles Through Tran

Brian Yoon hit the out he needed.

Hand #70: Cuong Van Nguyen raised to 360,000 under the gun, and that was good enough to take the pot.

Hand #71: Roland Israelashvili bumped it to 265,000 on the button. Brian Yoon three-bet to 725,000 from the small blind. Israelashvili folded after a couple of minutes of thought.

Hand #72: Israelashvili took down the pot with a raise to 265,000.

Hand #73: Israelashvili raised to 265,000 once again, this time from under the gun, and he took the pot again.

Hand #74: Yoon raised to 240,000 under the gun, and Nghi Tran called from the button, as did Israelashvili in the big blind. The flop came down {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, and Yoon fired a continuation-bet of 350,000. Tran raised to 750,000, and Israelashvili got out of the way. Yoon thought for about a minute before shoving all in, and Tran beat him into the pot.

Tran: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Yoon: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Tran had sprung a trap by flatting with aces, and Yoon had fallen into it with his open-ended straight draw.

"Six-ball," someone yelled from the rail.

The dealer burned and turned, and sure enough, a {6-Diamonds} completed Yoon's straight and left Tran drawing dead.

Israelashvili raised it up to 400,000, and Morneau made the call. The turn paired the board with the {3-Hearts}, and both players checked to see the {2-Diamonds}. Morneau again checked, and Israelashvili bet another 400,000. Morneau folded after about 30 seconds of thought.

Hand #41: Morneau raised to 200,000 after action folded to his button. Israelashvili called from the small blind, as did Brian Yoon in the big blind. The blinds checked the {9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop, and Morneau bet 250,000. Israelashvili folded, but Yoon came out with a check-raise to 650,000. Morneau called. A {4-Diamonds} hit the turn, and Yoon jammed for just under 1.7 million. Morneau called off his last 1.55 million after about a minute.

Morneau: {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Yoon: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Yoon needed to catch a heart or an ace to survive, and he did just that when the {3-Hearts} came on the river. Morneau was eliminated in sixth.
