Welcome to PokerNews' Day 3 coverage of Event #52: $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em (Six Handed). The starting field of 175 entries is down to just 18 hopefuls, each looking to capture the coveted World Series of Poker gold bracelet, as well as the $1,205,324 first-place prize.

Day 1 chip leader Max Lehmanski leads the way into Day 3 as well with 1,982,000 and is followed by a slew of excellent competitors. Stephen Chidwick is second in chips with 1,782,000 and bracelet-winner Phil Galfond is third with 1,479,000. Dani Stern (1,469,000) and bracelet-winner Steve Sung (1,227,000) round out the top five and are these five are the only ones with seven-figure stacks. Also still in the field is David "Bakes" Baker (291,000), making his eighth cash of the 2013 WSOP and he is looking not only lock up a seat at his sixth final table of the summer thus far, but to capture that elusive third WSOP bracelet. Keith Lehr (449,000) remains as well, looking to better his runner-up performance in last year's $10,000 Six-Handed event.

Here is the Day 3 table and seat draw:

Kurganov Doubles

Nível 18 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Dani Stern raised to 26,000 on the button, Igor Kurganov moved all in for 306,000 out of the big blind, and Stern called.

Stern: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Kurganov: {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Kurganov wasn't in great shape, but the {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Spades} flop gave him top and bottom pair. The {7-Hearts} on the turn was no help to Stern, and Kurganov made a full house when the {a-Hearts} completed the board.

He doubled to 630,000 chips, while Stern slipped to 1.225 million.

Crazy Runout Between Quoss and Lyndaker

Nível 19 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Richard Lyndaker raised to 25,000 in the hijack seat, Fabian Quoss called on the button, and the flop fell {q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. Lyndaker continued for 30,000, Quoss raised to 80,000, and Lyndaker moved all in for 260,000. Quoss called, leaving just 25,000 behind.

Lyndaker: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Quoss: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Lyndaker flopped top set, but Quoss could make a better hand with a diamond for a flush or a king for Broadway. The German hit the latter when the {k-Spades} turned, but the {3-Spades} on the river paired the board, giving Lyndaker a full house.

He doubled to 606,000 chips, while Quoss is now on life support.
