The third day of the PokerStars.fr European Poker Tour Deauville Main Event is starting at 12 p.m. local time, in 50 minutes.
137 of 671 players remain with 95 being paid. The bubble will most certainly burst today but that won't be the end of it. The min cash is €9,500 while the winner will take home €614,000 in a couple of days. It's not yet certain how many levels we'll be playing today but it's likely that the organization will decide on not having a dinner break, similar to Day 2. Levels will last 90 minutes though, instead of the 75 minute levels the players played on the first two days.
Dario Sammartino is the chip leader with 427,700 in chips. EPT Loutraki 2011 champion Zimnan Ziyard is in second with a more than respectable 392,500 in chips. Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov takes fifth on the leaderboard with 345,700 while accomplished singer, actor and bracelet winner Patrick Bruel closes off the top 10 with 277,400.
It's likely that these guys will at least make the money, but there are not many sure things in poker. Headlining the leaderboard isn't a guarantee for a good day, as was proven by Ayman Zbib who ended Day 1B as the chipleader with 181,400 but didn't make it through the first two levels on Day 2.
Get ready for some action today with the first hurdle to take being the money bubble. The PokerNews Live Reporting Team will guide you through all the big hands, failed bluffs and huge coolers.
We have a dedicated live stream page for you to keep track of the feature table. The chip leader is seated there, so watch if he knows what he's doing:

The cry of, "seat open table 16," went up and was swiftly followed by, "seat open table 13."
I didn't catch either exit first hand but can tell you that Philippe Pertuisot (40,200) is out, Steven Comte was stacking his chips and Marco Della Tommasina (67,000) is also out, Timothee Jerbillet the victor of that battle

Alexander Goulder, a PokerStars player from the UK, likes to play a lot of pots in position and early today he has shown no desire to change that strategy. He started the day with 272,200 chips. On the button he opened for 6,500 and got one caller in big blind Pierre Mace. They saw a flop of , checked it and saw a turn card
which again was checked. The river card was the
and a bet of 7,000 from Mace persuaded Goulder to lay it down.
Folded to Goulder in the cut-off next hand he made it 6,500 again. This time German PokerStars player Jamila von Perger called from the button and the blinds folded. Von Perger lost a big flip late yesterday but managed to double up just before the end of play and is starting today with 112,500. Here they saw a flop of . Goulder continued this time for 7,500 and von Perger called. The turn card was the
and now Goulder bet 18,000 which was enough to win the pot.
There was no bedding in period on table 11 with a pre-flop four-bet getting wielded on the opening hand of play. Alberto Fiorilla opened from the cut-off, Denis Patout three-bet to 15,500 on the button, Fiorilla then four-bet to 35,500 and after much tanking Patout made the call.
On the flop Fiorilla, who won a live satellite to this event, bet 29,000 and Patout folded in a way that only French players can, with a little shrug and lot of vigor.
