Moe Tokko Eliminated in 2nd Place ($19,790)

Nível 28 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Moe Tokko
Moe Tokko

After losing that huge pot to Kassim Panjwani, Moe Tokko was doing his best to battle back from a 17:1 chip deficit when he got it all in preflop for 2,300,000 with Q8 against the A7 of Panjwani.

The flop of 745 improved Panjwani to a pair of sevens, but it also gave Tokko some extra outs as he could now hit a queen, eight, or a six.

Unfortunately for him, none of those came on the 95 runout and Tokko was eliminated as the runner-up.

Vladyslav Shovkovyi Eliminated in 3rd Place ($12,700)

Nível 26 : Blinds 75,000/125,000, 125,000 ante
Vladyslav Shovkovyi
Vladyslav Shovkovyi

Hand #58

Moe Tokko opened to 275,000 from the button with A5 and Vladyslav Shovkovyi three-bet from the big blind to 750,000 with 107.

Tokko decided to make the call and was rewarded when the flop came out 554 to give him trip fives. Shovkovyi then continued for 650,000 with ten-high and Tokko just called to go to the turn 2.

Shovkovyi then moved all in for 3,275,000 but was drawing stone dead when Tokko quickly snapped him off.

The river was the meaningless 9 and the large pot was shipped Tokko's way while Shovkovyi was eliminated in 3rd place.

Derek Normand
Derek Normand

Hand #53

After a preflop betting war, Kassim Panjwani moved all in and Derek Normand called to put himself at risk.

Derek Normand: A6All in
Kassim Panjwani: AQ

Normand would need some help to stay alive, and a six appeared on the flop to give him hope, but unfortunately, a queen came right behind it on the flop of Q36 to leave him drawing to two outs.

The runout of 2A failed to provide him with another six and he was eliminated in fourth place.

Bounty Pulls
Bounty Pulls

Hand #49

Brian Winter moved all in under-the-gun for 990,000 with A10 and was called by Kassim Panjwani in the cutoff with AJ to put him at risk.

Winter would need some help to stay alive in this spot, but the flop of 8J5 made it all the more tougher as Panjwani made top pair of jacks. Winter was given some hope on the turn 10, but the river could not provide as it came the blank 4 and he was eliminated in 5th place in his second final-table appearance of this series.

Jonathan Park Eliminated in 6th Place ($5,700)

Nível 24 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Jonathan Park
Jonathan Park

Hand #26

Vladyslav Shovkovyi opened to 160,000 from the hijack with QJ and then Jonathan Park moved all in for 640,000 from the big blind with A10.

Shovkovyi didn't take too much time to make the call and they were off to the races, Park's tournament life on the line.

The flop of 4106 was good for Park as he made top pair, but the turn Q was not his friend as Shovkovyi jumped into the lead with a pair of queens. Only an ace or a ten on the river would save Park, but tit was the brick 9 and he was sent out in 6th place.

Aleta Chapman Eliminated in 7th Place ($4,740)

Nível 23 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Aleta Chapman
Aleta Chapman

Hand #14

After a preflop betting war, all of the chips between Aleta Chapman, Brian Winter, and Kassim Panjwani found their way into the middle, with Panjwani covering.

Aleta Chapman: 88
Brian Winter: KJ
Kassim Panjwani: A10

Chapman was in the lead with her eights, but she had a lot of over-cards to dodge if she was to stay in the game.

Sure enough, the flop of 105K gave both of her opponents a pair, with Winter on the better end of it. The turn K further improved him to trips and left Chapman drawing dead, but it also gave Panjwani a flush draw.

Luckily for Winter, the river was the brick 3 and he was awarded the pot while Chapman exited in 7th.

After a preflop betting war, Trung Pham got it all in for his last 600,000 with AK and was called by Moe Tokko with QQ to put him at risk.

Tokko was ahead going into the flip, and the runout of 84286 meant the queens held true to eliminate Pham in 8th place.

Short-stacked Erin Parisien moved all in for 505,000 with QJ and was called by Vladyslav Shovkovyi with AK to put her at risk.

Benjamin Harris

After doubling up Jonathan Park, Benjamin Harris moved all in preflop for a little over 1,000,000 and was called by chip leader Kassim Panjwani to put him at risk.

Benjamin Harris: K4All in
Kassim Panjwani: A5

Harris would need some help to stay alive, and although the flop of 357 gave Panjwani a pair, Harris still had outs to a six or a king.

Unfortunately for him, the runout of 7Q did him no favors and he was eliminated in 10th place.

Harris left far from empty-handed, however, as he pulled a $10,000 bounty along with several others.
