Steve O'Dwyer opened for 14,000 from the hijack and Benny Spindler moved all in from the button for 86,000. Both blinds folded and O'Dwyer instantly called. Spindler showed and was up against O'Dwyer's . The board ran out and Spindler doubled with flopped trips.
The first hand of the third level of the day saw Niall Farrell shove from the button for his last 126,000. The small blind folded but Jason Koon in the big blind instantly called.

The flop came and Farrell repeated his "Oh oh!". The on the turn gave him some outs and now his "Oh oh!" sounded more like Koon was the one needing to look out. The river however was not one of the cards Farrell was looking for, and the Scot made his exit from the tournament in 18th place.
Igor Kurganov, who has a big stack and pounding his opponents over at Table 31, opened for 18,000 from the hijack only to have Chance Kornuth three-bet all in for 50,000 total from the button. Both blinds folded and Kurganov made the call.

It was a flip, and Kornuth was looking to hold to stay alive. That's just what he did when the board ran out a safe .
Jason Koon opened under the gun for 18,000 and Dean Spagnuolo in the big blind was the sole caller. Spagnuolo check called a bet of 15,000 on and checked again on the on the turn. Koon checked behind and the popped up on the river. Spagnuolo checked a third time, and called the 45,000 bet that Koon made. Spagnuolo waited for Koon to show, and silently mucked after being shown for top set.
The flop showed when we saw Alexander Lynskey check from the big blind and Steve O'Dwyer bet 20,000. Lynskey put in the call and on the turn the hit.
Lynskey checked again on the turn and O'Dwyer quickly bet another 47,000. The Australian pro didn't hesitate and called, which brought the action to the river.
Lynskey checked a third time on the river, and O'Dwyer didn't waste any time betting a hefty 170,000.
Lynskey put aside the chips needed to make the call right away, but he took his time before calling off the large majority of his remaining chips.
O'Dwyer quickly turned over and Lynskey mucked his cards, leaving him with just 78,000 chips.
Benny Spindler opened for 18,000 from the hijack only to have Alexander Lynskey three-bet all in for 54,000 more from the button. The blinds both folded and Spindler thought long and hard before making the call.

Lynskey was ahead, and the flop seemed safe enough. However, the turn was dangerous in that it gave Spindler an open-ended straight draw. Fortunately for Lynskey, the safely landed on the river to give him the double.
From the cutoff seat, Philipp Gruissem raised all in for approximately 100,000. Igor Kurganov called from the big blind with the , and it was Gruissem who was at risk with the .
The flop, turn, and river ran out , and Gruissem was out in 17th place.
